PERKEMBANGAN DAN KEMAJUAN TEKNOLOGI




Ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (IPTEK) di indonesia berkembang dari tahun ke tahun sejak indonesia masih dalam penjajahan Belanda. Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi di Indonesia pada masa penjajahan dipelopori dan diperkenalkan oleh pemerintah kolonial Belanda. Pada waktu itu masyarakat diperkenalkan pada persenjataan modern baik yang ringan maupun yang berat.
Teknologi lain yang diperlihatkan dan digunakan oleh Belanda berupa kendaraan tempur dan alat-alat transportasi lainnya. Teknologi-teknologi tersebut berasal dari negara-negara di Eropa. Kemudian pemerintah kolonial Belanda menanamkan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi melalui pendidikan di sekolah-sekolah maupun dengan cara penggunaan secara langsung kepada masyarakat di indonesia.

Setelah merdeka, perkembangan ilmu pengatahuan dan teknologi berkembang pesat di Indonesia. Hal ini didorong dengan terbukanya akses-akses untuk mendapatkan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi bagi masyarakat di Indonesia. Kemerdekaan menciptakan keadilan dalam mengakses ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi bagi masyarakat di Indonesia. Mereka mempelajari sedikit demi sedikit di sekolah-sekolah yang sudah dibuka untuk semua kalangan masyarakat Indonesia. Dengan bekal pengetahuan ini kemudian masyarakat Indonesia melakukan berbagai inovasi dan eksperimen ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi untuk mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan di Indonesia.

Di era sekarang, teknologi sangat erat kaitannya dengan Internet. Perkembangan internet itu sangat mempengaruhi kehidupan sosial serta cara berkomunikasi seseorang. Perkembangan yang terjadi terhadap telepon genggam juga semakin mempermudah komunikasi melalui sosial media maupun internet. Hanya dari sebuah handphone kita bisa mendapatkan begitu banyak informasi secara singkat. Smartphone , itulah sebutan untuk handphone canggih yang dapat berfungsi hampir sama dengan sebuah computer jinjing atau laptop namun berukuran jauh lebih kecil. 

Bila dilihat dari sudut pandang ini, kemajuan teknologi memberikan kita kesempatan untuk hidup secara lebih mudah. Hal tersebut merupakan kemudahan untuk mendapatkan atau juga menyebarkan informasi yang diinginkan.
